🍳 Trevallick's Farm Shop & Tea Room (Pensilva, Liskeard)

A much loved local gem and one of our absolute favourites.
Start your morning with a proper Cornish breakfast or freshly baked scones with clotted cream, all made with the finest locally sourced produce. The farm shop is stocked with wonderful Cornish goodies to take home, and don't miss the pigs in the garden and stunning views over Bodmin Moor. A truly special place.
 

🚲 Electric Bike Hire (Trevallick's Farm Shop)

One of the best ways to explore the Cornish countryside and coastline is by electric bike. Hire is available locally, and we are always happy to point you in the right direction and suggest the most beautiful routes from the lodge. Bikes can also be delivered to Tudor Lodge for your use. 
 

🏖️ Looe Beach (Approx. 20 minutes)

One of Cornwall's most charming and loved coastal towns. Stroll along the harbour, enjoy fresh fish and chips by the water, explore the sandy beach and browse the independent shops along the quayside. A perfect day out for couples and families alike.
 

🏖️ Polperro (Approx. 25 minutes)

One of Cornwall's most picturesque and photographed fishing villages. A labyrinth of narrow winding lanes, whitewashed cottages tumbling down to a beautiful harbour.
Utterly charming and well worth a leisurely afternoon visit.
 

🏄 Newquay (Approx. 50 minutes)

Cornwall's famous surfing capital is home to the stunning Fistral Beach, one of the UK's most iconic surf spots. Whether you fancy trying a surf lesson, walking the dramatic coastal path or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere, Newquay is a brilliant day out.
 

⚓ Charlestown (Approx. 35 minutes)

One of Cornwall's most enchanting and unspoilt historic harbour villages. An absolute must visit during your stay. Charlestown has barely changed since its 18th century beginnings, making it one of the most atmospheric and beautifully preserved places in the whole of Cornwall. Wander the cobbled streets, admire the magnificent tall ships in the harbour and soak up the timeless charm of this truly unique place.
 

💧 Golitha Falls (Approx. 15 minutes)

A magical ancient woodland with a beautiful series of waterfalls tumbling along the River Fowey. A peaceful and scenic walk suitable for all and dogs absolutely love it here too.

 

🚣 Siblyback Lake (Approx. 15 minutes)

A wonderful spot for water sports including kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing and fishing. Also a beautiful place for a lakeside walk and birdwatching — perfect for a relaxed afternoon in stunning surroundings.
